Yet Another African Country, Angola, FINALLY Makes Gay Sex Legal

Forgive me if I sound as if I’m short on patience with these anti-gay, homophobic parts of the world, but there is no rule in any book that states that I have to support anti-gay people or places. And I won’t. The good news, though, is that things are changing slowly in many parts of the world.

Gay sex will be legal in Angola from February 2020 after the country’s National Assembly gave final approval to its new Penal Code.

Here’s more. Finally, this code will replace one that actually dates back to 1886. There are also other protections included, and I’m thrilled for the LGBTQ people of Angola. I’m just so sorry it had to take this long.

“A wonderful story that I loved. The characters were well developed, and strong. Gus: A sweet young man. Doing something for all the wrong reasons. Craig: his boyfriend, he’ll go along with anything Gus say. Henry: Gus father a no nonsense man, who’s husband died last year. I enjoyed this story.”
