Gay Marriages Rise 5 Years Later; Ryan Field Books
It’s hard to believe it’s been 5 years since SCOTUS ruled on gay marriage, but that’s a fact and so much has changed for gay people since then. This is amazing to read.
Five years after the U.S. Supreme Court legalized same-sex marriages around the U.S., more than a half million households are made up of married same-sex couples, according to figures the U.S. Census Bureau released Thursday.
Here’s the rest. There are so many factors with this, but one is that straight people don’t even realize that now gay kids and teenagers don’t have to grow up believing they will be alone for the rest of their lives. They, too, can no have spouses and raise families just like the straights. And that’s a big deal.
