The 15 WORST Countries for Gay Travelers
I post often about what’s happening to LGBTQ people in other countries, and it’s not always good. There are horrid, vicious, hateful countries in this world where gay people are not treated well at all. In some cases, they are abused and tortured and even imprisoned. So this list is important to know. It’s also surprising because some of these places are not destinations I would have known about off hand.
One of the only non Muslim countries on this list is Barbados, where homosexual acts can lead to up to a decade in prison.
Here’s more. When Tony and I first started driving cross country to Palm Springs we were more than apprehensive about what other states in the US might be like. But I have to say that from New Jersey to California, including Indiana, we never once experienced any discrimination whatsoever. But we are cautious, too. We are careful about the situations in which we put ourselves.
