The Ellen DeGeneres Show Under Investigation

What’s interesting about this is the fact that it’s not a police investigation…or anything criminal. It’s not really even an investigation of Ellen DeGeneres. It’s an internal investigation through WarnerMedia about allegations involving the Ellen TV show itself. And yet the gay presses are all making this sound as if this is all about Ellen. I don’t totally understand that…or why they are so eager to smear her this way. But that seems to be the intention, and most people won’t even notice this.

Ten former employees – as well as one current employee – described in detail to Buzzfeed News the toxic work environment they endured on the show, an environment they said is wrought with racism, unethical terminations, fear, and more.

Here’s the full story, such as it it. I have too many questions about this one, and I hope there’s a follow up to this so-called investigation. First of all, I want to know why, after all these years, none of this has come out about Ellen anywhere else. It’s always been long-standing knowledge that many of these highly successful powerful people are not always easy to work with, or to get along with.

Transphobic, Homophobic Brutal Attack Harms Couple

A nice harmless couple aged 20 and 21 were brutally attacked while dining out.

Between midnight and 12.10am in the early hours of Sunday (July 26), shortly after they ended their meal, the couple were walking near St Denys Road and Dennis Street when their evening was interrupted by an unknown man.

Here’s the link. It’s a very disturbing story partly because these things are still happening today, and yet it’s all too real. The the LGBTQ+ phobia is clearly still around.

 New Book

“A wonderful story that I loved. The characters were well developed, and strong. Gus: A sweet young man. Doing something for all the wrong reasons. Craig: his boyfriend, he’ll go along with anything Gus say. Henry: Gus father a no nonsense man, who’s husband died last year. I enjoyed this story.”

What readers said about “Altered Parts”
“Best Gay Novel In Years. This story will stay with you and you will feel you know every character and the beauty of their home in the mountains of North Carolina.”

Altered Parts

Altered Parts by [Field, Ryan]

While the book is easily readable, it also addresses emotions stereotypes and relationships. I would have preferred it be 3 times as long and tragically most guys don’t find happy endings as depicted.. but in a short book, it provides food for thought, clarity and insight.. far more and better expressed than 99% of gay fiction . I don’t think it could have been done better.
