And here’s one more myth from me. Not all gay men want to be called “queer.” If that’s what you want, fine. But pay attention closely: many of us find that word as offensive and insulting as the N word. I think we should all have the right to identify however we choose. I don’t find it offensive if other people want that, but I choose not to be “queer.”
