Israel Has Record Number of Gay MPs

On the global front, not everything is always negative for gay people.

Israel is set to have a record number of openly gay MPs after new rules allowing cabinet members to give up their seats came into effect.

Here’s the link to read more. I think this will continue in the future. Look at the US. We had Pete Buttigieg, an openly gay man, running for POTUS.

I know there’s a long way to go, but we have come a long way since the days when Simon Cowell and Ryan Seacrest would make cheesy, insulting gay jokes on American Idol. A very long way.

Brian Jordan Alvarez Accused of Catfishing

This is another Grindr story.

Actor Brian Jordan Alvarez can’t get a break… at least not when it comes to dating. The actor has been accused of catfishing on Grindr yet again.

You can read it all, here. I can’t comment because I’m honestly not even sure who he is. I just thought it was amusing that he was accused of catfishing for sending real photos of himself.

“A wonderful story that I loved. The characters were well developed, and strong. Gus: A sweet young man. Doing something for all the wrong reasons. Craig: his boyfriend, he’ll go along with anything Gus say. Henry: Gus father a no nonsense man, who’s husband died last year. I enjoyed this story.”

What readers said about “Altered Parts”
“Best Gay Novel In Years. This story will stay with you and you will feel you know every character and the beauty of their home in the mountains of North Carolina.”

Altered Parts by [Field, Ryan]

While the book is easily readable, it also addresses emotions stereotypes and relationships. I would have preferred it be 3 times as long and tragically most guys don’t find happy endings as depicted.. but in a short book, it provides food for thought, clarity and insight.. far more and better expressed than 99% of gay fiction . I don’t think it could have been done better.
