Anti-Gay Trolls Busted On Grindr

Unfortunately, this seems to be a way of life in the age of technology.

Christiaan Otto regularly spewed homophobic nonsense about the evils of homosexuality and how gay people being responsible for coronavirus to his followers on Facebook.

Here’s a link to read it all in full. The article goes on to mention many other anti-gay trolls in detail.

The Bionic Woman and Queer Feminist Women

There’s a new book out that apparently examines the old TV show The Bionic Woman and the main character of the show as a queer icon. I had no idea about this, but it sounds fascinating. Right now I’m linking to an interview with the author of the book.

I draw on feminist theorists like Martha Nussbaum and Alice A. Kuzniar in an effort to create a dialogue between high theory and popular culture.

Here’s a link to more. This is the kind of thing I find fascinating, especially with respect to pop culture. I highly suggest checking it out.

The book is titled: The Bionic Woman and Feminist Ethics

“A wonderful story that I loved. The characters were well developed, and strong. Gus: A sweet young man. Doing something for all the wrong reasons. Craig: his boyfriend, he’ll go along with anything Gus say. Henry: Gus father a no nonsense man, who’s husband died last year. I enjoyed this story.”

What readers said about “Altered Parts”
“Best Gay Novel In Years. This story will stay with you and you will feel you know every character and the beauty of their home in the mountains of North Carolina.”

While the book is easily readable, it also addresses emotions stereotypes and relationships. I would have preferred it be 3 times as long and tragically most guys don’t find happy endings as depicted.. but in a short book, it provides food for thought, clarity and insight.. far more and better expressed than 99% of gay fiction . I don’t think it could have been done better.
