"Poldark" Starring Aiden Turner; Kinky Boots Gay Dance Instructor’s Kitchen Quarantine Displays; Ryan Field Books

Poldark Starring Aiden Turner

If you’re looking for some excellent binge worthy TV shows during this quarantine period for the coronavirus, you might like this. It’s a period series called Poldark and we’re streaming it on Amazon Prime.

It’s actually a TV series based on novels written by Winston Graham, and the series that’s streaming on Amazon right now is a reboot of a series from the 1970s.

Poldark is a British historical drama television series based on the novels of the same title by Winston Graham and starring Aidan Turner in the lead role. The series was written and adapted by Debbie Horsfield for the BBC, and directed by several directors throughout its run. Set between 1781 and 1801, the plot follows the titular character on his return to Cornwall after the American War of Independence in 1783.

You can read more about it, here, in detail.

Check out Aidan Turner, too. You won’t be disappointed. He also was part of a show called Being Human with openly gay Russell Tovey.

Kinky Boots Gay Dance Instructor’s Kitchen Quarantine Displays

I saw this guy for the first time on TikTok. He was doing some sort of flamboyant dance routine in his kitchen while wearing high heeled boots, skimpy underpants, and some kind of long dramatic scarf. It was cute.

“Me going to the fridge 87 times a day,” he captioned the video. “CATEGORY IS: SELF ISOLATION SERVE 💅🏼 Y’all, I’m so proud. I made all of these looks using one blanket!”

You can check it all out, here. I think he’s sharing these things everywhere, too. Some of these guys on social media look better in high heels than women. And I love that whole gender neutral thing.

“A wonderful story that I loved. The characters were well developed, and strong. Gus: A sweet young man. Doing something for all the wrong reasons. Craig: his boyfriend, he’ll go along with anything Gus say. Henry: Gus father a no nonsense man, who’s husband died last year. I enjoyed this story.”

What readers said about “Altered Parts”
“Best Gay Novel In Years. This story will stay with you and you will feel you know every character and the beauty of their home in the mountains of North Carolina.”

While the book is easily readable, it also addresses emotions stereotypes and relationships. I would have preferred it be 3 times as long and tragically most guys don’t find happy endings as depicted.. but in a short book, it provides food for thought, clarity and insight.. far more and better expressed than 99% of gay fiction . I don’t think it could have been done better.
