Josh O’Conner In The Durrells of Corfu

We’ve been binge watching The Durrells of Corfu on Amazon Prime for the last two weeks and loving every moment of it. It’s a TV series based on the books of Gerald Durrell about a single British mother who decides to move to the Island of Corfu with her four children. It’s set in the 1930s, there is a gay storyline, and one of the stars of the series is Josh O’Conner. He also played Johnny Saxby in the gay film, God’s Own Country. I’m not sure if he’s gay, or if he played gayface in God’s Own Country. There doesn’t seem to be any information out there with a simple search.

But this isn’t about Josh O’Conner. This is about The Durrells of Corfu and how wonderful it is. It’s funny, it’s sad, it’s emotional at times, and it’s interesting to watch a single parent deal with issues in the 1930s. It’s also bittersweet to see how gay men had to live in the 1930s.

The Alleged Sexual Misconduct of Drag Queen Sherry Pie

I haven’t been following this, but it’s everywhere on social media.

Queerty did their own investigation regarding the alleged fraud and sexual misconduct of Sherry Pie from RuPaul’s Drag Race, whose real name is actually Joey Guliemelli. But it also goes into a lot of detail about the struggles and obstacles young guys face in the entertainment business.

As someone mentioned in the comments below the article, we’re finally seeing men talk about their sex abuse stories. This is not just gender specific to women, and it’s been going on for years.
