First Single Gay Man Adopts Child In Scotland

Single gay men adopting children is not news to me because I’ve known single gay men all my adult life who’ve done it. With that said, I do realize how this is big news for other people, which is why I like to link to stories like this.

A young single gay man in Scotland named Thomas Anderson never in his wildest dreams thought he would be allowed to have a child of his own. And now he’s never been more thrilled.

“I have so many amazing children in my life and I genuinely believed I was blessed with so many tiny humans around me because I would never have one of my own.”

Here’s a link to the full story. They get into more detail about adoption in a general sense, too.

Vicious Straight College Students Mock Rival Basketball Player About His Gay Grindr Profile

Here’s some alleged homophobia that happened in New Jersey, not far from where I live in New Hope, PA.

There was a basketball game at Monmouth University in New Jersey and a nasty group of straight Monmouth students allegedly decided to shame one of the gay basketball players on the opposing team with photos taken from the guy’s Grindr profile.

Other people from Monmouth University were quick to respond.

“So disappointing that some students have to be idiots and represent the University in such a negative light. They should be banned from future sports events.”

Here’s a link to more. The school is now investigating the incident.

What readers are saying about “Uncertainty”

Amazon

“A wonderful story that I loved. The characters were well developed, and strong. Gus: A sweet young man. Doing something for all the wrong reasons. Craig: his boyfriend, he’ll go along with anything Gus say. Henry: Gus father a no nonsense man, who’s husband died last year. I enjoyed this story.”

What readers said about Kendle’s Fire.

While the book is easily readable, it also addresses emotions stereotypes and relationships. I would have preferred it be 3 times as long and tragically most guys don’t find happy endings as depicted.. but in a short book, it provides food for thought, clarity and insight.. far more and better expressed than 99% of gay fiction . I don’t think it could have been done better.
