An Honest, Sweet “Heteroflexible” Guy Is Curious
I can’t help it. I love these new terms…”heteroflexible.” They’re as amusing as they are reality in many cases, and I think they’ve been ignored for too long. They show that not everyone falls under a category or into a neat little box. And that’s fine. It’s also nothing new. We’re just beginning to talk about these things openly.
Here’s a guy who says he’s “heteroflexible,” and he’s curious about engaging in simple, harmless sex with men.
“So I identify as mostly heteroflexible, but I’ve had the desire for years to hook up with another guy to see how it is. Basically oral and making out/foreplay only,” he wrote in a recent Reddit thread. “That said, even though I can express that on an app, I feel as though it’s selfish. I’m really only doing this to fulfill a sexual urge, and it feels thoughtless to a partner.”
I love his honesty, and I don’t think there’s anything selfish about it. Although I’ve never actually used the word “heteroflexible” in a novel, I have written about characters just like him. You can check this out, here.
He Had the Best Gay Sex of His Life Writing About Straight Honeymoons
This story is about a guy wrote about straight wedding for a conservative bridal publication. But he wasn’t thrilled with the more boring aspects of the job and he asked his editor for more responsibility, most of which included travel so he could write about straight honeymoons. And he wound up with some really excellent hook ups.
The windsurfer instructor in Bonaire was just about the best teacher I’ve ever had, and I didn’t learn a thing about the sport. In Aruba, the hotel’s point-person gave me a tour of the pool area and a more intimate tour of his boyfriend.
Here’s more. It’s a nice personal story with a happy ending.
