Madonna’s Latest Tour Might Have Done Her In
This article talks about Madonna’s Madam X Tour and how it’s allegedly been plagued with issues from the start. Even though some reviews have been positive, she hasn’t been getting the best press.
For one thing, she wouldn’t allow cell phones. But this demand is really odd…
And she demanded the air conditioning in every venue be turned off, creating a stifling, near-suffocating experience, especially for fans seated in the balconies.
You can read the rest here. The article goes on to mention a comment she made about James Baldwin and censorship. I’m not commenting because I’m not part of Madonna’s huge fandom, but I did see one clip from the tour and it looked pretty good to me. She had that audience mesmerized.
Pete Buttigieg Tells Homophobe He Loves His Husband
Earlier this week a story about a homophobic woman went viral. Apparently, she found out that Buttigieg was gay and married to a man, and she changed her mind about voting for him. Her comments were painfully homophobic in the most typical way.
Here’s part of how Buttigieg responded…
“Of course, I wish she was able to see that my love is the same as her love for those that she cares about, that my marriage means as much to me as hers if she’s married,” Buttigieg said.
Here’s the rest. This isn’t the only homophobia I’ve seen all week with regard to Buttigieg. And a good deal of it is coming from so-called straight white liberals who are supporting other candidates. They don’t even know they’re homophobic, which is usually how it works. “We’re your straight allies and we’ll support your rights…as long as you let us tell you how things should be done.”

Morton is so madly in love with his husband, Harrison, he’ll do anything to please him, including overlooking all his self-destructive issues. However, as openly gay Morton gains more fame and success in the mainstream with his popular gay love songs and his unique gender-bending image, and Harrison continues to slide downhill, there comes a point where everything has to change. And when that climax finally happens, Morton isn’t certain about anything in his future or his marriage.
