AJ and the Queen’s Costume and Fashion Designers
To my own surprise, I’m still totally loving RuPaul’s AJ and the Queen for a variety of reasons. One of which is the retro aspects. From the music to the settings, there are constant reminders of the 80s and 90s. And it’s done in a clever, entertaining way that makes you smile. One of the guest stars is actually Adrienne Barbeau. But there’s also something else that’s excellent…the costumes and the fashion design.
Here’s an interview with the AJ and the Queen costumer designers, Zaldy and Trayce GiGi Field. C
“The show has a lot of drag looks for sure, but overall it’s a story about everyday life. Zaldy and I read the script, and we figured out what was needed for each scene; its parameters, where it was taking place.”
Here’s the link for the rest. I’m hoping there’s a season 2 for AJ and the Queen. It would be a shame if Netflix didn’t give us that, especially after all those horrible hetero comedy specials we’ve had to endure on Netflix. I mean, those awful interviews in the car things?
His Gay Boyfriend’s Ex Is Hot AF
Admittedly, I have been looking for a way to use “AF” in a post for while now, and this seemed like the perfect opportunity. It’s also an interesting story about images and self-esteem that most gay men deal with all the time. And we all do it.
In short, people commenting on Reddit are helping out a gay guy who discovered his boyfriend’s ex is fantastic looking. Apparently, this hot ex-boyfriend is really freaking the poor guy out.
“I acted as if nothing happened, but in reality, I was really angry and paranoid about that,” the guy continued. “He has a better body than me, and he has European heritage and God knows what else.”
Here’s the link. Someone left some very wise advice.

However, as openly gay Morton gains more fame and success in the mainstream with his popular gay love songs and his unique gender-bending image, and Harrison continues to slide downhill, there comes a point where everything has to change. And when that climax finally happens, Morton isn’t certain about anything in his future or his marriage.
