2019: Prominent LGBT People We Lost
It’s that time of year again, and here’s a list of some prominent LGBT people that passed away. I actually remember each one when it was announced.
I know I posted about this one when it happened.
New Yorker Brian Butterick, also known as the drag queen Hattie Hathaway, died at the age of 62 in late January. Butterick was a well-known figure on NYC’s club scene. Beyond making a name for himself as a drag queen, Butterick was also a musician and performer, poet, and club runner.

“Midnight Kiss” New Gay Slasher Show On Hulu
Even though this isn’t my genre, I’ll definitely check it out just to see how they do it.
“Midnight Kiss,” the latest, New Year’s Eve-set installment of Blumhouse’s horror anthology “Into the Dark,” is a B-grade slasher in the tradition of drive-in theaters and late-night TV
But instead of straight characters, these characters are gay. Well, all except for one “gal pal.” And this one is set in Palm Springs instead of those hideous cabins in the wilderness. It definitely sounds campy. Frankly, I would have added a cute, hot straight guy to the cast, but what do I know.
