6 Homophobes Busted On Grindr

Here’s a list of 6 different homophobic people who were caught on Grindr. This first one is kind of typical of what we see all the time.

He’s an anti-gay preacher from Missouri, an elder at a place called The Church of Christ, and a communications professor at Truman University. And yet, he was caught looking for gay hook ups on Grindr. Allegedly, he was looking for a “sugar daddy relationship.”

You can read it all, here. There’s more to the story, and 5 more examples with different homophobic people who got caught on Grindr. I don’t know how people can live this way.

Real Story About Guy Who Got 16 Years For Burning the Rainbow Flag

I’ve seen this story all over social media lately and it’s not always being reported accurately. I saw one sleazy ambitious untalented conservative pundit really put a spin on it just to stir up his painfully unsophisticated, uninformed fan base. These people really don’t know any better either and I don’t think it’s right to mislead them this way.

So I thought I would link to Snopes with the real story about why this guy got 16 years for burning the Rainbow Flag. There’s always more to the story these days, especially on social media with so much fake news going around.

The story’s not totally wrong, but there’s a reason why he got 16 years instead of less time. A valid legal reason. His sentence was extended because he has two prior felonies and he’s being treated as a “habitual offender.” It’s Iowa state law.

You can read it all in full, here.  They show examples of how this whole story has been twisted and exaggerated by some media outlets, which of course is a good example of fake news.

It’s a shame we can’t get accurate news anymore.
