Kamala Harris Calls Buttigieg Naive For His Comments On His Gay Experience

Kamala Harris recently called Pete Buttigieg “naive” for “comparing struggles.” And this is very typical. Straight people will do this all the time, even though they have no clue whatsoever what it’s like to be gay, or what it’s like to grow up in the closet. I could continue, but I’m keeping this short.

However, Buttigieg was questioned about her comments and he gave the perfect reply:

Asked by NBC News about Harris’ remarks, Buttigieg rejected them and said “there’s no equating those two experiences.”

He’s absolutely correct.  I’m sure Kamala Harris has faced her share of issues as a woman, however, she never had to hide the fact that she is a straight woman. That is a privilege, and that alone makes the two experiences different.

If you’re not gay, don’t splain to gay people about their unique experiences and we won’t splain what it’s like being a straight to you. It’s that simple.

Vogue’s Third Gender Cover Star

There aren’t enough articles out there about the third gender, and there should be more. In fact, there needs to be more awareness about this because so many people simply do not understand what third gender means.

Vogue Mexico has featured a third-gender cover star for the first time. The magazine is believed to be the first in Vogue’s 120-year history to feature a ‘muxe’ (pronounced MOO-she) model.

Here’s a link to wiki where third gender is defined in simple terms.  I think it’s a good brief explanation for people who aren’t aware.
