Men Kissing Men In Their Underwear
There’s a fashion brand in Australia, Bonds, that’s famous for underwear and socks. They have a new campaign out that’s different from what you normally see in advertisements.
it features different couples sharing romantic and intimate moments. This includes two men sharing a tender kiss over breakfast. The pair are apparently a real-life couple.

There’s been a mixed response on social media, which is to be expected.
Straight Men and the Sexy Underwear Problem
Here’s an article that gets into some history about men’s underwear ads. I thought it was interesting, especially if you compare it to the article above about the new underwear ads from Bonds. Even though the two men are kissing in the Bonds ad, the underwear is fairly tame.
But nearly 25 years later, men’s underwear still isn’t allowed to show too much skin: In March, Aerie launched a line of body-positive undergarments for men, featuring models of diverse shapes and sizes in an unretouched photoshoot.
They go into a lot more detail about why most straight men don’t care much about “sexy underwear.” They also mention a few brands. But frankly, I always think that the plain normal underwear that straight men wear IS sexy underwear. And that goes for gay men, too. Sorry, but I am admittedly one of those people who think skimpy Speedos are really cheesy looking. But a man in boxer shorts, gay or straight, is damn hot.
