“Transparent” Musical Series Finale on Amazon Streaming
It’s hard to believe my posts about the TV show, Transparent, date back to 2014. And I’ve been posting different news stories about it ever since because I love the show, the characters, and the writing. In fact, there was never a thing about that show I didn’t like. I even love the house. There’s always been an artistic quality, but not over the top. Unfortunately, there was a problem with one of the lead actors, Jeffrey Tambor, you can read more about here. But I’m not getting into that. This post is about the series finale, which was actually done as a 2 hour musical.
When I saw that the series finale was a 2 hour musical, I was worried. I thought it would be another Glee. But it really was very good, and nothing at all like sticky sweet Glee. I’m not going to give out any spoilers, but it’s interesting the way the writers handled the ending. They brought the entire show, story line and characters, full circle, in a very symbolic way, that involves loss, reawakening, and life changes. They just did a fantastic job, and it’s sad that it’s not getting more press and attention.
Here’s the link to find out more. I watched it on Amazon Streaming with Prime just the other night. I highly recommend it.
And of course Judith Light made the entire show all the more spectacular. But they’re all excellent.
Aaron Schock Spotted At Another Gay Circuit Party
Here’s another story in the never ending Aaron Schock saga. I’m still not sure why people seem so interested in him, but I do get the gist of it, in a very broad general sense.
Aaron Schock was once again spotted shirtless at a gay circuit party over the weekend, laughing joyously with his arms wrapped around another dude, but somehow we’ve lost the ability to feel scandalized by it.
