Chris Cuomo Jokes About the Pronouns She, Her, Hers

I think this is a good example of how the world is still adjusting to certain things.  Not everyone understands the importance of pronouns now. And when people are uncomfortable about something they don’t understand they tend to make jokes. However, if you’re getting paid a lot of money and you work for a huge cable news network, you should know better. Where’s he been? This really is a big thing now.

But this was such an easy one. Kamala Harris went out on stage, graciously, and announced her preferred pronouns are she, her, hers. She made it simple for everyone…except, I guess, for Cuomo.

CNN host Chris Cuomo swiftly apologized after attempting to crack a poorly-judged joke about pronouns at last night’s LGBTQ-themed Democratic Presidential nominee town hall event in Los Angeles.

Here’s the link. I have a rule now. Unless someone tells me they have preferred pronouns, I don’t assume anything and I stick to gender neutral pronouns.

However, Cuomo did apologize and I wouldn’t hold it against him. This is all very new to non-LGBTQ people and most simply are going by the bad knowledge they learned from Will and His Grace.

Uganda’s Dealth Penalty For Gay Sex Bill

Instead of getting mad at Ellen for sitting next to George Bush, I wish more people would get mad about things like this on the global front.

NAIROBI, Oct 10 (Thomson Reuters Foundation) – Uganda announced plans on Thursday for a bill that would impose the death penalty on homosexuals, saying the legislation would curb a rise in unnatural sex in the east African nation.

It’s a disgusting law and I worry for any LGBTQ people who live in that place. Here’s the link.
