Ryan O’Connell On Being Gay and Disabled

I really like this guy. He has a great TV show on Netflix called Special that I binge watched voraciously, and I love the comments me makes in public. This is the kind of gay content we should be getting all the time.

Writer, actor, and disability advocate Ryan O’Connell spoke to students at the University of Washington this week about the unique struggles he’s faced as someone who is both gay and disabled.

Here’s more. It’s definitely worth the click.

Pete Buttigieg Clarifies Criticism of Gay Media

I posted about Buttigieg and the gay media earlier this week, and here’s a follow up story about it where he explains his comments about the gay media.

“Just to be clear: LGBTQ media plays an increasingly important role, especially at a time like this. I had a grumpy moment where I was thinking about some of the coverage that I do get frustrated with that seems to tell people how to be gay.

Here’s a link to the rest. They certainly do scrutinize everything this man does. Once again, I think it shows how diverse gay men really are. You don’t tell us how to be gay. WE tell you.
