Grindr Profiles That Turn Gay Guys Off

Here’s more from the hook up app front. This time it’s about what really turns gay guys off with Grindr.

Not everyone judges a guy’s profile by the photo — some users actually read the bio and then swipe away because of one of the clichés recently pilloried in the r/askgaybros subreddit.

You can read the rest of it, here. The comments are interesting, too.

Openly Gay Federal Appeals Judge Confirmation

I haven’t been following this story too much, but it’s interesting. I hear nothing at all about it in the mainstream news.

In an unexpected role reversal, President Trump is trying — for a second time — to confirm a gay U.S. prosecutor to a federal appeals court despite objections from Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) over his qualifications for a lifetime judicial appointment.

According to this source, Patrick Bumatay, who’s an attorney in California, could become the highest ranking openly gay federal judge in the US.

You can read the rest at this link.   It’s the Washington Blade, a source I’ve been reading for years and a source I believe to be accurate all the time.
