Kit Harrington On No Gay Marvel Superheroes

Kit Harrington is part of the Game of Thrones cast, and he recently made a few interesting statements I totally agree with. He nailed this.

“There’s a big problem with masculinity and homosexuality that they can’t somehow go hand in hand,” he said.

Here’s more. Not only do I agree with him 100%, but this is a huge part of the theme in my recent romance, Kendle’s Fire.

A PG Rated Gay Romance

Review: This is GREAT story!! It’s wonderful in its exploration of sexuality and masculinity.

Jim Parsons Creates and Stars In Gay TV Show

If I sound overly excited about this, you’ll have to forgive me. It’s just that after years…a lifetime…of watching the publishing, film, and TV industries hijack all gay content and spin it with a heteronormative POV, this project with Parsons sounds like we might finally be moving forward with some real gay content.
Written by Holden, The Inn Crowd is inspired by Tony Horwitz’s 1999 New Yorker article and centers around a gay couple who divide a small town when they open a very successful inn.
It gets the small town in the rural, low-income county split over whether to support the [gay couple’s] successful business, which is attracting big-name celebrities, or oppose the duo’s ambitious expansion plans.
You can read more, here. Even the comments sound encouraging. I’ll definitely be watching this one.
The 90s Called and They Want Debra Messing Back
Speaking of TV shows that put a heteronormative spin on gay culture and promote all the gay stereotypes without admitting it, here’s one about Debra Messing from that TV show I only watched a few times back in the 90s, Will and His Grace
Susan Sarandon who has always been a supporter of LGBT people posted something political, and then Messing went after her with classic online bully tactics. It’s not civil discussion and I hate to even link to it. And, for the record, Sarandon is not a Trump supporter. I believe she supported Bernie Sanders.
‘STFU SUSAN,’ the Will & Grace star tweeted. ‘Oh yes, PLEASE let’s give Trump CREDIT. I mean how else are you able to walk out on the street. Convince yourself that that this CATASTROPHE of a President who you said was better that HRC IS NOT ripping children away from parents seeking asylum, holding children…’
