The Projector: New Release
Here’s my newest release, The Projector, which is also part of a limited edition I’m doing with Altered Parts. But I wanted to release both separately, with different covers. They aren’t related, except for the fact that I’m offering The Projector as a free bonus story with Altered Parts, here.
In any event, The Projector is a long story that falls a few thousand words short of a novella…it’s 15,000 words. Here’s the blurb, and here’s the Amazon link. I also have it up for sale in other places, too, like Smashwords and iTunes.
Kyle Jacobson is a perfectionist on a mission. With an important school project that must be done on a certain night, during a certain time of the year, he plans everything right down to the last detail. He keeps his secret project so carefully guarded no one other than his boyfriend knows about it, because Kyle believes this could be the most important project of his academic career.
Unfortunately, Kyle’s boyfriend disappoints him at the last minute and Kyle is left to deal with his secret project alone. It becomes a true test of professional tenacity to see if he’ll follow through with his plans or abandon them completely.
Kyle has no idea what lies ahead of him that night, nor is he aware of how quickly life can change in the blink of an eye. But it soon becomes apparent he made the right choice that night, because the outcome of this project changes his entire perspective and his life in a totally unexpected way.
The Milo Yiannopoulos Court Saga
While I’m not a huge fan of any political pundit, I do find this lawsuit with Milo Yiannopoulos interesting from a publishing POV. And this is getting gritty now. The notes from Milo’s editor were released in court, and Milo’s fighting back with a few interesting allegations of his own.
I’m not going to try to parse this one, and I’m not excerpting. You can check it out here. I’m going to follow this one to see what the outcome is.
Keep in mind that most articles about this are highly slanted in one direction or the other.
Guys Are Going Commando
There’s not much happening this week, obviously. Some company is selling gym shorts where guys can go commando…or that’s how it feels.
The company has released a homoerotic commercial, er, “infomercial” that shows a dude repeatedly adjusting his junk and bending over in a G-string while his fratty friends attempt to tear his clothes off in public. You know, typical “guy” stuff.
It’s worth checking out the video, and the comments. The shorts actually look kind of comfortable. I thought the video was funny, but the people who commented clearly don’t agree with me.
You can do that, here.
Watch Them Objectify Justin Trudeau
Whenever I see things like this I can’t help wondering how people would react if this was done to a woman. Especially a woman politician. Think about that for a moment.
But getting back to those looks, a photo quickly went viral today that shows off Trudeau’s curves in all the right ways.
What follows that comment is a close up photo of Justin Trudeau’s ass. This really bothers me because I happen to have a lot of respect for Justin Trudeau. He is the only high profile politician that I can think of in recent years who has actually apologized to gay people for what they’ve gone through.
We should be thanking Trudeau, not gaping at him.
You can check it out here.
And don’t forget my publisher is doing a free giveaway at Goodreads for A Christmas Carl.
