Trans Sex Workers Raped; James Woods’ Butt Plug Tweet To Anderson Cooper; Prince William Wins Straight Ally Award With An Excellent Speech

Trans Sex Workers Raped

A London man received a 14 year jail sentence for rape, and why he chose these women as his victims is scary.

This quote is from Detective Inspector Susan Jordan…

‘He targeted his victims and thought that because of the nature of their work, his offending would go unreported. I would like to stress that the Met is committed to seeking justice for all victims of sexual offences.

You can check this out here. Unfortunately, there may be other victims who haven’t come forward yet.

James Woods’ Butt Plug Tweet To Anderson Cooper

I think this is a good example of how the double standard works in the media nowadays. The other day Stephen Colbert made insulting homophobic comments and all the media did was give him praise and support. And now we have James Woods making homophobic tweets about Anderson Cooper, and he’s getting slammed.

Woods, a two-time Oscar nominee, took to Twitter today to give his own theory as to why the CNN anchor rolled his eyes this week during a contentious interview with White House spokesperson Kellyanne Conway.

Woods wrote of the openly gay Cooper’s expression: ‘As his butt plug dislodges during a newscast… #andersoncoopereyeroll.’

I’m not fond of homophobic comments from anyone, about anything. And frankly I think Woods’ comment is as bad as what Colbert said. However, the double standard continues in the media, and I think this is a perfect example of it.

Prince William Wins Straight Ally Award With An Excellent Speech

Unlike Debra Messing at the GLAAD Awards who wants to make America gay again, Prince William nailed it spot on when he won a British LGBT award for being a Celebrity Straight Ally. As usual, Prince William’s eloquent acceptance speech not only makes a difference, it hits on the highly significant topic of bullying.

Here’s part of what he said…

‘I’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone at the LGBT Awards for this incredible award. It’s a real honor to be recognized in this way,’ he says.

‘In recent years I’ve become passionate about what we can do to protect people from bullying, particularly online.

‘Through this work, I have encountered a number of tragic stories about LGBT young people who have sadly felt unable to cope with the abuse and discrimination they face in their lives. But this work has also led me to a number of inspiring people who are helping others to stand up to bullying, wherever it occurs.

‘It is 2017 and no-one should be bullied for their sexuality, or any other reason.

Now that’s how you accept an award. Pay attention, Debra Messing…and most of Hollywood.  Gay men are not your pet poodles anymore.
