More Possible Gay Sex App Grindr Horror Stories

This is very disturbing…

A gay college student who was known to have used the Grindr app has been found dead and the circumstances surrounding his death remain a mystery.

The family of 23-year-old Dakota James want police to get the gay social networking app to release all information it has on Duquesne University grad student.

George Michael’s Cause of Death

It’s still hard to believe that he’s gone.

Now a coroner has confirmed Michael died of a combination of heart and liver disease.

Darren Salter, senior coroner for Oxfordshire, said the pop star died from a dilated cardiomyopathy with myocarditis and fatty liver, according to the BBC.

It goes into a more detailed explanation here. Evidently, it was due to natural causes.

Anderson Cooper Mutes Trump

This is interesting from a cultural POV. A lot of people don’t realize that social media has taken over a huge chunk of the media in general. Try to look at this objectively. Whether you hate Trump or you love him, he’s using social media in a way that no other elected public official has ever done before. In other words, we don’t need the established media to report statements to us from the President. Trump has bypassed the established media as we’ve always known it, he’s broken all the rules, and he’s been using Twitter as a vehicle to give us a good deal of information first hand. Of course he’s crude and he’s abrasive and we might not agree with him, but if this kind of thing continues with other elected officials…and it could be anyone from Corey Booker to Paul Ryan…and they start communicating with us first hand, where will that leave people like Anderson Cooper who get paid millions of dollars to feed us their version of the news? Frankly, I’ve stopped watching almost all cable news lately. I get my info from social media outlets that I trust.

In other words, social media, from a cultural POV, is changing the world. And I think this goes deeper than politics or Donald Trump. I think this is a sign of the future for everyone.

CNN’s Anderson Cooper paid a visit to The Late Show on Monday night and had a confession to make. ‘I’ve muted the president on Twitter,’ the anchor told host Stephen Colbert.

‘When people are annoying you on Twitter you don’t want to delete, because that tells them you deleted them,’ Cooper explained. ‘If you just mute them, they think you’re still following them, and you don’t actually see their tweets.’

Of course Colbert questioned Cooper about this, and Cooper said, “I just don’t want that drama in my life.”

But isn’t that what he’s getting paid millions of dollars to do: deal with drama? It’s the news. Reporting drama is what paid for his million dollar vacation home that was recently featured in Architectural Digest…a home that costs more than most of us will ever make in a lifetime. Interesting.
