9 Celebs Who Came Out This Year

Yesterday was National Coming Out Day, which meant there were a lot of things on social media about coming out this time of year. Here’s one about 9 celebs who came out, several of whom you see often on social media.

Colton Haynes on coming out to the world…

‘I should have made a comment or a statement, but I just wasn’t ready,’ he told Entertainment Weekly ‘I didn’t feel like I owed anyone anything. I think in due time, everyone has to make those decisions when they’re ready, and I wasn’t yet.’But staying in the closet was painful: ‘People want you to be that GQ image that you put out, but people don’t realize what it’s like to act 24 hours a day. I’d go home and I was still acting.’

You can check them all out here.

Taiwanese Actor’s Homophobic Rant

A Taiwanese actor who won an award recently, Lee Tien-chu, went on a homophobic rant that will stun you.

‘I’ll be open about it,’ he said. ‘I will not support homosexuality because it’s going to lead to the end of humanity. I do not hate gay people, I love them, I have compassion for them, but I have to say this is wrong.’

‘This is why I’ve said no to so many gay productions that approached me for acting,’ he added. ‘I will not betray my faith just for a bit of money. Homosexuality is a huge curse to the future generation.’

And it only devolves from here…more at this link

What I don’t get with these idiots is that they don’t understand that gay is NOT something new. Gay people have been around since the beginning of time and it’s only in recent years they’ve decided not to hide it anymore. We were even around before most of the religions out there started. I think this actor is just dumb, and I can’t imagine how he won an award of any kind unless it was rigged.

Gay Architect Who Built Secret Wall To Hide His Gay Lover

In case you ever wondered, here’s an article about how gay people had to live in the world long before the term “gay” actually meant what it does today. Back then you were not referred to as “gay.” You were either a homosexual, or a fag, or a queer, or some other pejorative. And back then you didn’t refer to your significant other as your partner or spouse. You called them your lover.

Tunnard then lived in the house, called St Ann’s Court, with his lover, a stockbroker called Gerald Schlesinger, despite the laws prohibiting gay relationships.

To get around the law, the couple had a architectural trick they used to bamboozle guests.

The bedroom could split into two, using a false wall. This meant when guests came they could present themselves as two chaste bachelors, and not two men in love.

There are still many gay people living this way right now.
