Terrible Grindr Tips; Straight Identifying Men Speak; Australian Senator Thinks Gay Men Are Unfaithful

Terrible Grindr Tips

Since I have no idea how Grindr works, this is news to me, too. It’s a comedic series of tips from Mano Agapion on how to win Grindr.

Here’s an excerpt:

Clearly tongue-in-cheeck, his “advice” is so brutally on the nose that if you followed it, it might actually get you laid — for the worst possible reasons.

“You need a hot pic of your torso that says ‘I move fast and I don’t respect myself.’” Check.

Straight Identifying Men Speak

This one was a little confusing…to me. Maybe others get it, but it took me a moment. At first I thought it was about gay men who “identify” as straight men. But it’s not quite like that.

recent national survey released by the CDC revealed that more Americans are identifying as bisexual than ever before. Not only that, but more straight-identifying men are admitting to having tried gay sex.

Evidently, it’s about straight men having gay sex on the down low. The word “identifying” seems to be the PC way to put it…or to make it sound better. From what I gather in one of the quotes, cheating plays a huge role, too. The one straight guy only seeks out other straight married men because he doesn’t want to risk his marriage to a woman, and he rarely looks for gay men. Cheating.

Australian Senator Thinks Gay Men Are Unfaithful

This is pretty rich when you think about the previous part of this post where it talks about straight men being unfaithful to their wives with other “straight-identifying” men.

Family First Senator and marriage equality opponent Bob Day on Friday hit out at same-sex marriage, saying that most gay men in relationships are unfaithful to their partners.

As if straight men aren’t unfaithful to their wives. Talk about ignoring the proverbial elephant in the room. The fact is, from what I’ve always seen from my own personal experience, many gay couples are not monogamous, however, they have open relationships (agreements) and that’s not the same thing as being unfaithful. Many do three-ways. I get into this topic in my next book…open gay marriage. I don’t have a title yet, but it will be out soon.

Not to mention the fact that in the cases of three straight couples that are friends of mine, the wives have been unfaithful in every single case. I’m not singling anyone out. My only point with this is that you can’t just single out gay men as being unfaithful. Cheaters gonna cheat, gay or straight, male or female.

Once again, this is just another example of someone in power, with privilege, who truly does not know what he’s talking about.
